Dark Circles Under My Eyes

I've had dark eye circles since I was a little girl. Yes, getting enough sleep seemed to help when I was 10,  but not anymore. My discovery of concealers became a personal quest to hide those awful 'bruises" under my eyes, and I've become an expert, until about 6 months ago... I've discovered Auriderm® illume eye creme, which helps to improve the appearance of dark circles under the eyes.

How do we get those unsightly "bruise-- looking" things?

Dark Circles under the eyes are caused by fragile capillaries that leak blood close to the skin’s surface. The pool of blood oxidizes and turns a reddish-blue color, similar to a bruise. The skin under the eyes is very thin and often almost transparent and the reddish-blue tint is what you see as dark circles or bags under the eyes.

I started using Aurederm's illume eye cream and in 2 weeks, my condition improved. I do have to keep using the product, otherwise the capillaries start leaking again, but now instead of piling on thick concealers and powders, I just used Colorescience Eye Candy Trio and I'm ready to face the day. Plus the price of this cream is sooo affordable $50.00 for a tube, and it lasts and lasts. Now, it won't do anything for fine lines and wrinkles, so Lumiere rocks for that purpose.

Last week I went into LaserDOC for a microderm abrasion. It was not painful at all-the procedure was actually very relaxing, and also safe for my Rosacea. I went in with blotchy red skin and when I left it felt instantly smooth, cleansed and fresh. After the visit I had clearer skin AND a confidence boost!
Since the procedure I've been using Journee day cream with SPF 30. It is my new favorite skin care product, and I put it on every morning. I've noticed that my pores are less visible, and the best part about it is the slight color tint it gives me-which helps to hide my Rosacea.

Thanks LaserDOC :)

I too have dark circles under my eyes, and little fat bags- thanks Dad! :) But after using the Aurederm creme, I saw an improvement in only 1 week. Avoiding salt helps too, but that's not so easy. I still have some complaints about my fat bags, and the indent below, which give my eyes a look that's older than my years. So I plan to go in and get some of the fill treatments they offer, which stimulate collagen, and can create a more youthful, symmetric look to the face. I'll let you know how it goes! But I wouldn't do anything if I didn't trust Laser Doc, and everything they've helped me with has been a success, so I'm not worried at all.

The Illume eye cream with vitamin k oxide helped my dark circles. I noticed an improvement in the third week of use. It kept getting better as the weeks went by. When I ran out of the product I noticed the dark circles had surfaced again. It was a strong reminder that I needed to get back on the product. It really does make a difference in how young I look. I like the price, too. I am so tired of paying high prices for eye cream. This one is around 50.00 and it lasted for 6 months.
